On September 7, 2025, the world celebrated the International Day of Clean Air, established by UN resolution (A/RES/74/212). This day focuses attention on the problem of air pollution, which annually claims millions of lives and damages ecosystems. According to WHO data, 9 out of 10 people breathe air that does not meet quality standards. In 2025, activities included campaigns to reduce emissions, promotion of green technologies, and discussions of international agreements to improve air quality.
